Members of the British Sledge Hockey Association are required to observe the following codes of conduct. Any alleged failure to do so should be referred, in writing, to the Committee. If proven, consideration will be given to the suspension or cancellation of that individual’s membership.
1. Avoid the use of aggressive, abusive or discriminatory language or behaviour towards other members, officials, players, supporters or other members of the public at all times. This includes all forms of communication, including verbal, written, or visual.
2. Ensure familiarity with all relevant policies and procedures published by the BSHA (such as Health & Safety Guidance, Child Protection Policies, Anti-Discriminatory Guidance etc) and adhere to these at all times.
3. Avoid and discourage the use of illegal drugs or performance enhancing substances and support the BSHA and Team GB in their efforts to ensure that the sport is drug free.
4. Respect the instructions and decisions of officials during all training events and games.
